Am I being unreasonable?

Our 8 month old son had surgery this morning that lasted about 2 hrs. he was getting released the same day if he responded well, my husband works nights and last night was a long night for him, we had to be at the hospital at 7am and he said he would stay in the car cause he was tired and well wasn't there with our son during the pre-op and even after when they called us to go in with the baby, I called him and he said "naw I'm too tired" it hurt me cause it's surgery, it's not like it was something small... well I was with my son alone and once we got home at around 6pm he tells me that he's going out with the guys to play basketball, I got angry and confronted him and asked how he could miss the whole surgery process "cause he was tired" but yet to go play basketball he wasn't tired... Am I being unreasonable for feeling this way??
