I've got a virus and it's deleted everything off my laptop?

first off if you were using a security program like mcafee or norton with site advisor or even the free avast or avg you wont get infected unless you file share with something like uttorent first off lets kill your viruses with malwarebytes antimalware then use recuva to recover your files if your word files are damaged when you recover them then when you are in word click on start in word then open to file location then in popup window there will be a new open click on litle arrow and select open and repair then save as new file some pictures or videos may be unrecoverable try downloading picassa may help
